The City of Wanneroo has allocated funds in the 2019/20 financial year for the upgrade of floodlighting to Koondoola Park, located at 90 Koondoola Ave, Koondoola.
The City has developed a draft concept plan for the park, showing the location of the floodlights, which is attached below.
Feedback invited
To ensure the proposed development meets the needs of the local community and sporting groups, this concept plan is now released for public comment from Monday 6 May with consultation submissions closing on Friday 31 May 2019.
The planned works will meet Australian Standard 2560 for large ball sports competition lighting (50 lux on 4 towers) and will be designed in accordance with Australian Standard 4282 Control of obtrusive effects of outdoor lighting to control light spill into surrounding properties.
