Information

Proposed Additions to Educational Establishment at 157 Kingsway, Darch -  DA2019/778

The above-mentioned development application is currently advertised for public comment until 17 October 2019.

The application proposes a maintenance shed and uniform shop to be constructed in the northeastern corner of the site, as well as modifications to vehicular movement and parking both within the school site and on Westport Parade and Carripan Road.

These modifications include:

  • Widening of the Westport Parade crossover and median island to accommodate left-in/left-out movements in lieu of left-out/right-out;
  • Conversion of the verge parking bays to the west of the Westport Parade crossover into bus bays; and
  • Alteration of the footpath, parking bays, and signage along part of Carripan Road to facilitate Kiss & Drive. Signage along the modified portion of Carripan Road will read “No Parking – Kiss & Drive” in lieu of “3P 7:30am-4:00pm.”
