Proposed Single House at 17a Javez Drive, Quinns Rocks (DA2021/589)
The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 28 April 2021.
The application proposes a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom ‘stilt’ home at the abovementioned address. The dwelling is proposed to have a northern setback of 1.5m, eastern setback of 1.25m and western setback between 1.26m and 2m. The ‘ground’ level will be generally unmodified, with exception to some cut in the north-eastern corner to a depth of 2.2m, and additional minor cut for a carport located centrally underneath the dwelling.
The dwelling includes an alfresco located on the south-western portion of
the dwelling, setback 2m from the side boundary, and an additional smaller deck
on the south-eastern corner of the dwelling, setback 1.25m from the side
boundary. The overall building height has been measured at 7.9m for the
skillion roof, with a maximum external ‘wall height’ of 6.9m as measured from
natural ground level.
