Proposed Research & Development Centre at 370 Flynn Drive, Neerabup (DA2021/740)
The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 2 July 2021
The application proposes the use of the land for a ‘Research and Development Centre’.
The ‘Research and
Development Centre’ land use includes ‘test beds’ covering the northern sector
of the AARP for equipment testing, research and development and training. Equipment testing is to include
(but not be limited to) various types of vehicles, drones, robotics and
automated equipment generally related to the industrial and mining sectors.
No built form
component is associated with this application. A second development application
will be lodged which will incorporate the physical works component of the
development.
Access to the site is
proposed to be gained from the future Pederick Road and an extension of
Greenwhich Parade which will be constructed as part of an approved subdivision.
