Proposed Single House Additions (First Floor Addition and Garage Extension) at 8 Brookway Retreat (DA2021/1779 )
The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 9 March 2022.
The application is seeking
planning approval for additions to the existing dwelling at Lot 685 (8)
Brookway Retreat, Landsdale. While the First Floor Addition complies with the
Deemed-To-Comply provisions of the R-Codes, the Garage Extension is setback a
minimum of 3.4m to the primary street boundary, 0.4m to the secondary street
boundary, and 0.7m to the corner truncation boundary. As such the Garage
Extension will be assessed against the Design Principles in Clause 5.1.2 of
State Planning Policy 7.3 – Volume 1 Residential Design Codes (R-Codes).
