Community Facility Projects - Park assets renewal - various locations

Project description

As part of the City’s Asset Renewal Program, playgrounds that are independently audited and assessed as reaching the end of their safe operating life, are scheduled for renewal. This is to ensure that the equipment remains safe and operational for the community’s use.

Shade sails are installed at the same time where natural shade is limited.

Renewal of playground equipment, surfacing and shade sails for the 2023/24 Financial Year

Clarkson

  • Tapping Park - Replacement of the play equipment and playground surface.

Carramar

  • Peter Turner Park - Replacement of the play equipment and playground surface.

Landsdale

  • Huntington Park - Replacement of the playground surface.

Madeley

  • Kingsway Sporting Complex (Netball Playground) - Replacement of the playground surfacing and installation of limestone edging.
  • Old Trafford Park - Replacement of the playground surface.

Marangaroo

  • Swanley Park - Replacement of the play equipment, playground surface and installation of shade sails.

Mindarie

  • Rosslare Park - Replacement of the play equipment and playground surface.

Ridgewood

  • Ballymote Park - Replacement of the play equipment, playground surface and installation of shade sails.
  • Ridgewood Park - Replacement of the play equipment and playground surface.

Tapping

  • Jimbub Swamp Park - Replacement of the fitness equipment surface.

Wanneroo

  • Barndie Park - Replacement of the playground surface.

Yanchep

  • Fisherman's Hollow - Replacement of the play equipment, playground surface and the installation of shade sails.
