Coastal Projects - Quinns Rocks - Development of a Universal Access Fishing Platform

In 2022/23 a feasibility study was completed on installing a universally accessible recreational fishing platform in Mindarie or Quinns Rocks.

The study showed it was feasible to install a universally recreational fishing platform in four locations.

Following concept options at these locations, the City completed community and stakeholder engagement and assessed the options through a multi-criteria assessment.

The preferred option was identified as Quinns Rocks, extending from groyne 1 to the Frederick Stubbs carpark. 

Detailed design for the structure will be undertaken in 2024/25.
