Due to a supplier shortage 360 litre recycling bins are unavailable until further notice.
Residents can make a number of changes to their bins at any time. Please read below to find out what changes can be made and how to request the required change.
Change the size of your recycling or general waste bin
If you would like to replace your property’s existing general waste bin or recycling bin with one in a larger or smaller size, please complete our online form. General waste bins are available in the standard 240L or smaller 140L size. Recycling bins are available in the standard 240L or larger 360L size.

Order an additional bin
If you consistently produce more waste than will fit in your kerbside bins, you can order an additional bin for an extra fee. The fee will be added to your rates and an interim rates notice will be forwarded in due course. Please note: The person applying for the additional bin needs to be the owner or managing agent of the property. Click the button below to request this change through our online form.

Order a garden organics (GO) bin
If you own a property smaller than 400sqm and would like a bin for garden organic waste, you can request a lime-green lid GO bin. There is no additional cost for this service. All of the City’s costs to deliver waste management services are included in the annual Waste Service Charge. Click the button below to request this change through our online form.

Note: If your property already has a GO bin you and would like an additional GO bin, please use the ‘Order an additional bin’ form instead.
Remove an additional bin
If you are paying fees for an additional bin you no longer require, you can request to have it removed. Please call the City on 9405 5000 to request this change.
Cancellation of service
If your property is being demolished and no longer requires waste servicing, please click the button below to request bin removal.
