Alkimos - Amendment to South Alkimos Agreed Structure Plan No. 72

Proposed Amendment No. 4 to the South Alkimos Agreed Structure Plan No. 72

Public comment is invited on the abovementioned amendment which proposes to:

  • Rezone land in the Central Village from ‘Mixed Use’ (R-Code range R40 – R80) to ‘Commercial’ (R-Code R80) and ‘Residential’ (R-Code range R40 – R60);
  • Update the dwelling yield for the ASP 72 area from 2,431 dwellings to 2,282 dwellings, a reduction of 131 dwellings;
  • Removal of two Neighbourhood Connector roads, and make minor changes to the alignment of the Indicative Secondary Transit Service Transport Route, and Social Provision/Cycle Linkage; and
  • Reduce the size of Strategic POS Site A from 4.5ha to 4ha, and increase the size of Site B from 1.5ha to 2ha.
