Proposed Single House Additions (Retaining Walls, Garage and Extension to Dwelling) at 9 Karmoy Place, Mindarie (DA2022/493)
The application proposes a series of additions to
the existing dwelling at the abovementioned property. With respect to the
retaining walls proposed, one of the retaining walls proposed has a nil setback
to the north eastern lot boundary and is 9.7 metres in length. This retaining
wall is a minimum height of 0.3 metres measured at the eastern side of the
retaining wall and is a maximum height of 0.7 metres at the north western
corner of the property. The second retaining wall also incorporates a nil
setback to the western lot boundary and connects to the first retaining wall at
the north western corner of the property and is 20 metres in length and 0.7 metres
in height. The applicant has detailed that a new 1.8 metre high Colorbond fence
will be erected on top of this retaining wall however this element does not
form part of this application.
