The City of Wanneroo has received a State Government grant of $2.6 million to develop an all abilities playground at Riverlinks Park.
A preliminary concept has been developed in consultation with the City’s Access and Inclusion Working Group (which is made up of individuals, carers and disability service providers), and initial Community Consultation completed earlier this year (June 2022).
Feedback invited
The concept design is now open for review and you are invited to provide any feedback by emailing leisure.planning@waneroo.wa.gov.au or calling (08) 9405 5339 by Monday, 12 September 2022.
Following the community engagement process it is anticipated works will commence in 2023/24.
