Proposed Amendment No. 27 to the Butler Ridgewood Structure Plan No. 27 – Various lots adjacent to Lukin Drive and Mitchell Freeway


The amendment is applicable to Lots 39-41, 79-91 and 9000 Gainford Way (Lot 9000), Lots 92-100 Radford Lane, Lots 101-107 Rathkeale Boulevard and Lots 108-110 Harlow Way, Ridgewood and proposes the following


  •  Modifying the zoning of the abovementioned land from ‘Mixed Use’ to ‘Residential’;
  •  Modifying the density coding applicable to Lot 9000 from R60 to R30/R60;
  • Removing reference to the ‘Special Design Precinct’ and Butler Train Station; and
  • Amending Table A – RD Code Variations Table to include front loaded lots in Section 2, and amending Clause 3 of the structure plan to include guidance on R30/R60 coded areas.

Please note the structure plan amendment is being advertised in accordance with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 to seek public comment on the proposal and has not been endorsed by Council. A full assessment of the proposal will be undertaken during and after the advertising period and a recommendation will be made to the Western Australian Planning Commission on the proposal.
