City of Wanneroo District Planning Scheme No. 2 - Amendment No. 196

Notice is hereby given that Council, at its Ordinary Council meeting on 11 October 2022 resolved, in accordance with the Planning and Development Act 2005, to initiate Amendment No. 196 to District Planning Scheme No. 2 (DPS2) for public advertising.

The purpose of Amendment No. 196 is to transfer zoning and planning controls from the City’s Carramar South/Tapping North Agreed Local Structure Plan No. 21B (ASP 21B); and place those zonings and controls into the City’s District Planning Scheme No. 2.

Should Amendment No. 196 then be approved, the City then expects a subsequent amendment to ASP 21B will be undertaken by the Western Australian Planning Commission to remove redundant planning controls.
