Proposed Single House Addition (2 x Patio & Carport) at 4 Chalmers Court, Mindarie (DA2023/1062)

The abovementioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 29 November 2023.

The application proposes a carport and two patios at 4 Chalmers Court, Mindarie. 

Details of the proposals are as follows:

• The proposed carport has a dimension of 8m x 4.35m, wall height of 3.1m and is setback a minimum of 0.5m and a maximum of 1.8m to the southern boundary;
• A proposed patio that has a dimension of 2.9m x 2m, wall height of 2.2m and is setback 0.5m from the southern boundary; and
• A proposed patio that has dimension of 6.95m x 5.28m, wall height of 2.2m and 5.35m from the southern boundary.

Due to the reduced setback, you are invited to provide comment on the proposal with regard to the following Design Principles:

Building Bulk; and

Amenity;
