Mayoral Extraordinary Election Information 2022

The City is holding an election by postal vote on Friday, 2 September 2022 to fill the vacancy of City of Wanneroo Mayor (term to expire: 21 October 2023). View further election information and candidate profiles.

Community engagement has now closed. Comments were submitted from 29/08/2017 to 18/09/2017.


Proposed Local Development Plan No. 2 - East Wanneroo Cell 1

Public comment is invited on the abovementioned Local Development Plan which proposes to include provisions relating to, but not limited to:

  • Building setbacks, orientation and form;
  • Vehicle and pedestrian access;
  • The provision of a public plaza, and a landmark feature building; and
  • Landscaping.

  • Your name and address;
  • How your interests are affected; whether as a private citizen, on behalf of a company or other organisation, or as an owner or occupier of property; and
  • Whether your submission is in support of, or objecting to the proposal and provide any arguments supporting your comments.

Should you make a submission on a planning proposal, please note that your details may be made public at a Council meeting and included in a Council Agenda, which will be available on the City's website, unless you specifically request otherwise in your submission.
