Quinns Rocks - Caravan Park, Coastal Planning

Community engagement has now closed. Comments were submitted from 02/02/2018 to 09/03/2018.

Information

The City of Wanneroo is investigating the potential for redevelopment of Lot 211 Quinns Road, Mindarie (the old Quinns Rocks Caravan Park) for a possible tourism related use.

As part of this, the City is developing a Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaptation Plan (CHRMAP) for the site, to assess the coastal vulnerability at various planning timeframes, as a proactive measure to prepare for future coastal changes and potential hazards associated with climate change and rising sea level.

A key component of the CHRMAP process is engaging with the local community and other relevant stakeholders to establish success criteria for the CHRMAP. This is the second round of community consultation for this project, with the first round undertaken in August/September 2017. If you provided input during the first round of consultation, this will be combined with the feedback from this consultation for overall assessment.
