As part of the 2018/19 Capital Works Program, the City is proposing to install a traffic treatment scheme (speed humps) along Blackmore Avenue, Girrawheen to aid in reducing instances of speeding and hooning.
The scheme will focus on increasing road safety as well as improving traffic flow and pedestrian connectivity for residents living in the area.
Please refer to the attached Drawing 3480-3-0 for further details of the installation. The City is expecting the works to start between March and May in 2019.
Whilst it is inevitable that works of this nature will cause some inconvenience, every endeavour will be made to ensure that this is kept to a minimum.
The City will keep affected residents informed about progress and achievements of key milestones.
Further advice regarding the construction schedule will be provided closer to the time of construction.
