Quinns Rocks - Gumblossom Park, Dog Exercise Classification

Community engagement has now closed. Comments were submitted from 06/05/2019 to 26/05/2019.

Information

The City of Wanneroo is seeking feedback from the local community on changes to the designation of Gumblossom Park as a dog exercise area.

Dogs may be exercised on most City of Wanneroo reserves, with a few exceptions. In a dog exercise area, dogs may be exercised off a lead, but the person in control of the dog must carry a lead in case it is required.

Concerns have been raised surrounding the safety of children who use Gumblossom Park during school hours, due to dogs being off lead, and dog mess not being picked up.
