Merriwa - Dalvik Park Sports Amenities Building Concept Design

Community engagement has now closed. Comments were submitted from 04/06/2019 to 28/06/2019.

As part of the City of Wanneroo’s Capital Works Program, a sports amenities building is being constructed at Dalvik Park, 20 Dalvik Avenue, Merriwa.

The building will provide a kiosk, storage area, toilets and changeroom facilities for sporting clubs and individuals who use the reserve.

To ensure the concept plan meets the needs of the community, it has been released for public comment between 4 June and 28 June 2019.

The concept plan (which is attached for viewing) includes the City’s standard provision of:

Unisex changerooms (2 x 20m2);
Kiosk (22m2);
Male, Female and Accessible toilets (29m2);
First aid room (10m2);
Umpires room (10m2);
Club storage (2 x 20m2); and
External verandah.

It is anticipated that construction will occur from July 2020 to April 2021.

Your feedback is encouraged through the community survey, which closes on Friday, 28 June.

City Officers will be onsite to answer any questions from 5:00pm on Monday 24 June.
