Information
The draft City of Wanneroo Agribusiness Position Paper has been developed in response to the North Wanneroo Agriculture and Water Taskforce Report and the Minister for Agriculture and Food’s response to the Taskforce Report.
The purpose of the consultation is to share the Council endorsed position on the Minister’s Response to the Taskforce Report with the stakeholders most affected by it, collect feedback and incorporate this to develop a final Position Paper for Council endorsement.
The draft Position Paper sets a clear objective for agriculture in the City of Wanneroo and includes context, opportunities, challenges, consequences, current projects and initiatives to move forward addressing challenges and leveraging opportunities.
Council approved the draft Position Paper to be released for public consultation at the 4 June 2019 meeting. The six-week public consultation period closes 5pm, 21 August 2019.
