Proposed Amendment No. 2 to the North Eglinton Structure Plan No. 93

Public comment is invited on the abovementioned amendment which proposes to include a definition for the ‘Community Hub’ land use and list this as a discretionary ‘D’ use on Lot 9502 (5) Shiny Lane, Eglinton.

The Amendment will introduce the following clauses 4.1.2 and 4.1.3 under Section 4.1 - Land Use Permissibility:

“4.1.2     For the purposes of this Structure Plan ‘Community Hub’ means any land or buildings used on a temporary basis for the early activation of a residential estate and includes a combination of educational, social, commercial or recreational facilities or services. Such uses may include a sales office and the sale and serving of food, beverages and convenience goods.

4.1.3     Community Hub is a ‘D’ use on Lot 9502 (HN 5) Shiny Lane, Eglinton and a non-permitted ‘X’ use for all other lots within the structure plan area”.

  • Whether your submission is in support of, or objecting to the proposal and provide any arguments supporting your comments.

Should you make a submission on a planning proposal, please note that your details may be made public at a Council meeting and included in a Council Agenda, which will be available on the City's website, unless you specifically request otherwise in your submission.

Please note:  The amendment is being advertised to seek public comment on the proposal.  The advertising of the amendment does not indicate any formal support of the proposal by the City of Wanneroo or the Western Australian Planning Commission.
