Information

Planning and Development Act 2005
Local Planning Scheme Amendment Available for Inspection
City of Wanneroo District Planning Scheme No. 2 - Amendment No. 150

Notice is hereby given that the local government of the City of Wanneroo has prepared the above mentioned planning scheme amendment for the purpose of:

  • Rezoning land currently contained within the Drovers Place Precinct Agreed Structure Plan No. 80 (ASP 80). The proposed rezoning is intended to replicate the zones as prescribed in ASP 80 (or as proposed through amendments to ASP 80 currently under consideration) to equivalent zonings in DPS 2;
  • Imposing locational-specific requirements through the creation of a Special Control Area, to apply over the land subject to rezoning in this amendment. The locational-specific requirements would generally replicate the locational, traffic and environmental requirements that are currently prescribed throughout the ASP 80 text; and
  • Introduce a ‘Costume Hire’ definition into Schedule 1 of DPS 2.
Plans and documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment are available to view from the Document Library below and will be open for inspection up to and including 1 March 2016.
