Proposed Expansion of the Yanchep Central Shopping Centre at 2 Peony Boulevard, Yanchep (DA2021/1224)

The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 27 August 2021.

The application proposes to develop the southern portion of the Yanchep Central shopping centre, which is currently vacant. The proposal comprises the following

  • Coles Supermarket with a Net Lettable Area (NLA) of 3600m2, as well as a ‘click and collect’ pick-up area; 
  • Eight ‘specialty retail’ tenancies adjacent to Peony Boulevard to accommodate ‘food and beverage’ and ‘retail’ based uses; 
  • Child Care Centre in the north eastern portion of the development area; 
  • Medical Centre in the southern portion of the development area; 
  • Liquor Store with a NLA of 200m2  integrated with the Coles Supermarket; 
  • 7-11 Service Station in the north western corner of the development area, adjacent to Marmion Avenue and Peony Boulevard; 
  • Two Take-Away Food Outlets adjacent to Marmion Avenue; and 
  • Associated access, car parking and landscaping, including upgrades to Peony Boulevard.
