The Alkimos-Eglinton DCP was established in 2014 to collect financial contributions from developing landowners towards the cost of delivering district level community facilities in the Alkimos-Eglinton area.
The City’s District Planning Scheme No. 2 (DPS 2) requires that any estimated costs included in the DCP be reviewed at least annually to ensure that they are as accurate as possible.
The City has completed its annual review of the Alkimos-Eglinton DCP and Council considered this matter at its meeting on 7 September 201 (PS04-09/21). At this meeting Council endorsed the revised Alkimos-Eglinton Development Contribution Plan cost estimates for the purpose of public consultation, which includes a revised facility cost estimate of $82,932,000 and cost per hectare of $120,829.50 (or $12.08 per square metre).
