Proposed Single House Addition (Retaining Wall Amendment to DA2021/375) at 11 Flanders Place Alexander Heights

The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 24 December 2021.

The application proposes a series of retaining walls and masonry boundary walls which are located to the rear of the subject property. The proposal initially incorporates a 0.9m retaining wall which is located towards the rear of the subject site. On top of this retained area a 2 metre high boundary wall is then proposed which is located along the northern lot boundary for a length of 1.4 metres. The wall then wraps along the entire length of the rear boundary before extending across the southern lot boundary for a length of 7.7 metres. The boundary wall along the southern lot boundary is partially built up on top of the retaining wall for a length of 1.4 metres and then it maintains its 2m height for a further 6.3 metres.
