Community Facility Projects - Marangaroo - Paloma Park South Oval upgrade sports floodlighting upgrades

Project description	This project has been funded under the Australian Government’s Local Roads & Community Infrastructure Program – Phase 2. This program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of this project is to provide 100 lux LED sports floodlighting to the southern oval at Paloma Park in Marangaroo. Previous floodlighting did not meet Australian Standards 2560 for large ball sports training and as such, it was difficult for the sporting clubs to train, particularly during winter. Note The northern oval at Paloma Park in Marangaroo is also undergoing the same changes under the LRCIP Program – Phase 1.
