This project has been funded under the Australian Government’s Local Roads & Community Infrastructure Program – Phase 2. This program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of this project was to design and install sports floodlighting at Belhaven Park in Quinns Rocks in accordance with Australian Standards AS2560 for large ball sports training. The lighting design caters for both AFL and Rectangular Sports on the West oval, and Rectangular Sports on the East oval. The installation of sports floodlights allows users to train during the evening, especially during winter. |
