Heritage high tea

The Wanneroo Museum and Elixir Café invite you to enjoy a traditional high tea set in the grounds of historic Buckingham House.

This event is now SOLD OUT.

Built between 1880 and 1890, Buckingham House was home to John and Emily Amelia Buckingham and their seven children. Over the years Buckingham House was the home to other prominent Wanneroo families including the Ashby family and, George Tapping. The City of Wanneroo acquired the home in the 1970s and following careful restoration, it was officially opened as a heritage homestead for the community to enjoy and to learn about the early colonial history of Western Australia.

After indulging in a selection of sweet and savoury delights, including your choice of tea or coffee, you will be given a unique opportunity to join us for a guided tour of the house.

Spaces are limited and bookings are essential. Call 9405 5920 to reserve your place.
