Learn about the polyphagous shot-hole borer and the efforts to control it.

Small beetle, big problem!

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is hosting a free information session about the polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB).

The PSHB is a small, highly invasive beetle that tunnels into the trunks, stems and branches of trees and plants, causing dieback and tree death. This beetle attacks a wide range of plant species, with over 500 documented globally to have been affected.

Attend this information session to learn about the PSHB and the threat it poses to our urban canopy, and find out how you can help stop the spread of this invasive pest.

RSVP: This session is free to attend, but tickets are required via Eventbrite.

Parking and entry information: Free parking is available in the Civic Centre car park, accessed via Dundebar Road. Please enter the Civic Centre via the rear entrance.
