2025 Community Art Awards Exhibition

Art Awards 2025

The Wanneroo Community Art Awards is a major feature of the City’s cultural calendar and has been held annually since 2001.

View the 2025 Community Art Awards Exhibition from 21 May to 26 July 2025 at the Wanneroo Regional Gallery.

Opening hours

  • Wednesday to Saturday // 10am to 4pm
  • Closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday

Each year, as part of the Community Art Awards Exhibition, the City showcases artworks featuring a diversity of talents in the categories of Painting, Works on Paper, Sculpture and Photo, Film and Digital Media.

The exhibition provides an opportunity for artists living in Western Australia to sell their artwork and take home a share of the $19,900 prize pool.

National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week 2025

Get involved in the journey towards reconciliation with the City's free events and activities for National Reconciliation Week 2025.

National Reconciliation Week runs from 27 May to 3 June every year. It's a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and consider how each of us can contribute to achieving a just, equitable and reconciled country for all.

This year’s theme, Bridging Now to Next, calls on all Australians to step forward together, to look ahead and continue the push forward as past lessons guide us.

Aboriginal Country Music Festival Screening

Watch a special screening of the 1980 Aboriginal Country Music Festival at Lake Gnangara.

Galup VR Experience

Uncover untold stories of Lake Monger in this new 360 virtual reality experience, available at Wanneroo Regional Museum for one day only.

Beach to Bush Arts Festival

Beach to Bush 2025

This festival aims to activate local spaces and showcase talent from right here in the City through performances, displays, workshops and more.

Featuring art of all kinds from members of our community, they'll be something for everyone to enjoy including photography, art, dance and many other artistic endeavours.

Many events are drop-in, while others require advance bookings.
