Multicultural Advisory Group

To provide a strong link between the City of Wanneroo (the City) and its Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) community by supporting the development and implementation of the City’s Access and Inclusion Plan (AIP). 

The group will be engaged to support, provide advice and implement actions, where appropriate, on issues pertaining to the CaLD community.

Community Safety Working Group

To work in partnership with the community and the Police to develop a strategic approach to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the wider community of the City Of Wanneroo. This will be achieved through the development of planned actions and ongoing direction of the Safer Citizens program in consultation with the local communities and relevant Government instrumentalities.

The purpose of this Group is to:

a)         Guide and monitor the development and implementation of the City of Wanneroo (the City) Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

b)         Provide advice to the City on issues relating to communities and people of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background.

Quinns Rocks Caravan Park Redevelopment Advisory Group

The purpose of the Quinns Rocks Caravan Park Re-Development Community Advisory Group is to provide a platform where community representatives provide information, advice and views to the City on the re-development of the former Quinns Rocks Caravan Park as a modern tourist park.

The Quinns Rocks Caravan Park Re-Development Community Advisory Group will act in an advisory capacity and its scope is limited to the following:

  • Re-development footprint priorities;
  • Facilities wants and needs to ensure services meet those requirements; and
  • Ranking of desirable and undesirable outcomes of the potential development.
