Good Sports

Good Sports is a program run by the alcohol and drug foundation providing free tools to help sports clubs in their day to day running. The main areas of focus are alcohol management, smoking regulations, mental health, illegal drugs, and safe transport.

Healthway is a state government funded organisation that aims to create a healthy WA. They provide opportunities for funding to local clubs who align with their policies. A number of state sporting associations are already partnered with Healthway with associated clubs expected to align with healthway policies.

Fuel to go and play

An initiative of the Western Australian School Canteen Association, Fuel to Go & Play® aims to make community venues and sporting clubs healthier food environments. Fuel to Go & Play® offers clubs resources and support to help them provide healthy food options through their canteens.

Richmond Wellbeing: ‘Bouncing Back’

Richmond Wellbeing ‘Bouncing Back’ is a free program available to sporting clubs, with a focus on mental health. This program aims to provide clubs with the tools to assess mental health and wellbeing. This includes mental health training, assessment tools, and direction to local services to provide further assistance.
