Hardship Assistance

Ratepayers experiencing financial hardship can apply for assistance with their rates account.

Applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

To be eligible for this assistance, you must be able to demonstrate that you are experiencing financial hardship.

Please complete this form and attach all required documentation. Once received, your application will be assessed by our Rates Team who may contact you to discuss your application and payment options. During the assessment, any debt recovery action will be paused on your account. The assessment process can take some time and our Rates team will contact you with an outcome.


By completing this form you are declaring that:

  • I am/We are experiencing financial hardship
  • I am/We are not bankrupt or subject to a bankruptcy petition
  • I/We will advise the City of Wanneroo if there is any change to my/our financial circumstances
  • I am/We are not in receipt of Workers Compensation payments as a result of an injury
  • I am/We are not in receipt of payments from an Insurance Company or Superannuation Fund in relation to illness or injury.
