Riverlinks playground concept image
The City is constructing a new play area that will include five themed spaces to enjoy – Mountain, Jungle, Town/Country, Desert and Beach and will have a mixture of play equipment to appeal to all ages and abilities.
Under the City’s Access and Inclusion Plan this project will improve accessibility opportunities for people with a disability to use public open space facilities within the Burns Beach electorate.
Civil works commenced October 2023. Playground construction is proposed to commence February 2024.
