Preparing for an emergency

A natural disaster can impact all that you hold dear - your loved ones, your animals, your home, your most treasured possessions and potentially even your livelihood. While it’s easy to think it won’t happen to you, natural disasters are becoming more frequent and intense so it’s important to be prepared.

The Prepare Together project developed by the City of Wanneroo, provides residents with information and resources to better understand potential risks and weather forecasts, access up-to-date alerts and warnings, and prepare household emergency plans and kits.

Information sessions

Prepare Together information sessions for residents and community groups are held regularly at various locations throughout the City.
