2017 Local Government Election Candidate Information Sessions

Want to stand for Council? You can make a difference! Attend a Free Candidate Information Session  

If you want to make a difference in your community and have a part in local decision making, then consider becoming a candidate in the Local Government Election to be held on Saturday, 21 October 2017.  

All candidates must be enrolled to vote by 1 September 2017. Nominations for election open on 7 September 2017 and close on 14 September 2017.

Free Candidate Information sessions to assist with any queries regarding your nomination will be held during August. These sessions provide an opportunity to meet with representatives from the City of Wanneroo, the Western Australian Electoral Commission and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.

Candidate Information Session will be held:

• Thursday 10 August 2017 and
• Wednesday 16 August 2017

Both sessions will be commence at 6.00pm and will be held at the City of Wanneroo Council Chambers, Civic Centre, 23 Dundebar Road, Wanneroo
