The City of Wanneroo is happy to announce the relaunch of the Know Your Neighbour program for 2018.

The first step to creating friendlier and safer neighbourhoods is getting to know the people in your local area. Know Your Neighbour is about turning strangers into neighbours and streets in to neighbourhoods.

Know Your Neighbour gatherings can be as big or small as you like. It doesn’t need to cost much just invite everyone to bring something with them. People are the key ingredient. It could be a BBQ, drink, a cuppa, a picnic or even a cricket match! Host it at your house, front yard or local park.

Registering and hosting a Know Your Neighbour gathering enters you in the draw to win some great prizes and City of Wanneroo Libraries have cricket and games sets for you to loan and use at your gathering.

To register your gathering or for more useful hints, tips and links visit the Know Your Neighbour webpage at www.wanneroo.wa.gov.au/knowyourneighbour or contact the Connected & Resilient Communities team on 9405 5937.
