The City of Wanneroo is proud to support eligible local community groups and organisations through its Community Funding Program. We want to hear from you if you have a great idea for a project or event that aligns with the City’s commitment to building healthy, safe, vibrant and connected communities.
The Community Funding Program is open all year round, with options to support one off activities and projects, through to significant celebration events held over the course of a few years.
The City has also created a Community Response and Recovery Fund to provide support and relief to residents, community groups and organisations during times of emergency.
Current open funding streams relate to the following key themes:
- Service Provision
Enabling essential programs and initiatives to continue or expand that support vulnerable community members in the City of Wanneroo in response to COVID-19.
- Connecting Communities
Supporting activities, projects and events that celebrate our unique community and build positive connections through physical, mental and social wellbeing activities.
- Expert Advice for Groups and Clubs
Custom support packages delivered by a specialist consultant to help build the skills of a leadership group or committee in response to COVID-19.
