Proposed Single House Additions (Patio and Privacy Screen) at 60 Equinox Avenue, Eglinton - DA2022/681


The application proposes Single House Additions (Patio and Privacy Screen) at 60 Equinox Avenue, Eglinton . The patio is located on the easternmost lot boundary and incorporates a 5.3 metre length located parallel to the eastern lot boundary. The patio is 3.8 metres in depth. The posts of the patio are 2.8 metres in height and incorporate a nil setback to the eastern lot boundary. The roof of the patio is setback 0.5 metres from the eastern side boundary. The overall structure (including the gable roof) is 3.57 metres in height and its highest point is located approximately 2.2 metres from the eastern lot boundary. The privacy screen is attached to the posts of the patio and incorporates a 100mm slat with a 10mm gap above the existing dividing fence. The aluminium slats are proposed to be finished in ‘Woodland Grey’ so as to match the existing dividing fence.
