Public comment is invited on a proposal for a Amendment to Multiple Dwelling Development for an increase from ten units to twenty six units, advertising will commence on 13 May 2016.
The building design footprint will substantially remain the same, In summary the proposal incorporates the following;
- Non-residential uses (Consulting Room/Office or Art Gallery) on ground floor (along the existing marina boardwalk) with residential apartments above
- Development of two stories abutting Tacoma Lane and three stories abutting the existing boardwalk. The proposed rooftop terrace previously included has been removed
- The proposal complies with the height requirements of 12m above natural ground level
- The proposal incorporates setbacks ranging from 6m - 7.5m from Tacoma Lane to the residential building however includes carport walls 1.5m from Tacoma. It is intended that these are covered by landscaping.
