Proposed Grouped Dwelling Addition (Retaining Walls) at 1 Burt Street, Quinns Rocks (DA2022/1117)

 

The application is seeking planning approval for a retaining wall along the northern side boundary and western side boundary of Lot 35 (1) Burt Street, Quinns Rocks.

 

The retaining wall along the western side boundary is 24 metres long, and 26.6 metres long along the northern side boundary. The retaining wall and subsequent fill is a maximum of 2.71 metres high above the natural ground level (in the north western corner of the site) and drops down to be a minimum of 0.1 and 0.39 metres high above the natural ground level.

Due to setback, you are invited to provide comment on the proposal with regard to the following Design Principles:

  • Amenity;
  • Appropriateness to the locality; and
  • Respect for the natural ground levels of the site.
