Proposed Single House Additions (Balcony, Rear Patio & Front Terrace Retaining) at 6 Milner Street, Quinns Rocks (DA2023/80)

 

The abovementioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 7 April 2023.

 

The application proposes a raised balcony located at the front of the dwelling which results in 53.5sqm of overlooking to north-east side of neighbouring property.   

 

Due to the overlooking, you are invited to provide comment on the proposal with regard to the following Design Principles:

 

  • Building bulk;
  • Sunlight and ventilation;
  • Overlooking;
  • Effective use of space;
  • Views of significance;
  • Appropriateness to the locality;
  • Respect for the natural ground levels of the site; and
  • Amenity
