Quinns Rocks - Proposed Single House Addition (Ancillary Accommodation & Pool House) at 44 Glengyle Turn (DA2023/930)


The abovementioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 14 October 2023.


The application proposes an ancillary accommodation above the existing garage and a pool house at the southern corner of the site.


The Ancillary Accommodation is to have ground floor entry from the back of the dwelling.  The upper floor is 12.9m long, 4.8m wide with a 1.8m setback to the Northeastern boundary and an 8m setback to the street boundary.  The structure is proposed to have a skillion roof with a ridge height of 6.5m.  The upper floor will have major openings to its south facing facade. 


The Pool House is 6.1m long, 2.4m wide with a wall height of 2.9m.  It will be set back 0.5m from the southeastern boundary and 0.7m from the southwestern boundary.  The structure is proposed to have a skillion roof with a ridge height of 3.7m.
