Proposed Change of Use (Place of Worship) at 12 Hughie Edwards Drive, Merriwa (DA2023/1262)
The abovementioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 16 February 2024.
The application proposes a Change of Use to Place of Worship in the current location of Chillisaurus Mini Golf at 12 Hughie Edwards Drive, Merriwa. Details of the proposal are as follows:
- Proposed signage will replace the existing signage for Mini Golf and Bakery;
- There are 55 existing car bays within the site to accommodate for parking;
- A Transport Impact & Car Parking Assessment Report is provided; and
- An Acoustic Report is also provided in support of the proposal.
The indicative hours of the proposal are:
- Church Services - Sunday morning - 10am to 12pm (maximum 150 persons)
- Classes on Wednesday evening - 7pm to 9pm (maximum 50 persons)
- General office and administration - 9am to 5pm (maximum 4 persons)
