In October 2016, the City received a proposal from Banksia Grove Development Pty Ltd (BGD) for the development of a skate park at the Banksia Grove District Open Space on the corner of Pinjar Road and Grandis Boulevard

At the Ordinary Council Meeting 4 April 2017, Council resolved to list the project for consideration in the draft 2017/18 Capital Works Budget and endorsed the Banksia Grove Skate Park Concept Plan for community consultation purposes.

To ensure the proposed development meets the needs of the community, this concept plan is now released for public comment between 8 May and 2 June 2017.
