Plant Nursery Additions (Electrified Fencing) - Lot 601 (15) Queensway Road, Landsdale (DA2018/1089)
Public comment is invited on the abovementioned application which is seeking development approval for the unauthorised electrified fencing along the lot boundaries of the Plant Nursery. The electrified fencing complies with the Australian Standards relating to ‘Electric Fencing’ (AS/NZS 3014:2003 and AS/NZS 3016:2002, Electrical Installations – Electric Fences). These standards establish the detailed requirements for fencing relating to design, configuration and installation to meet acceptable safety standards.
This application proposes to re-position portions
of the electrified fencing off the lot boundaries (as shown on the Site Plan)
and have the fencing decommissioned from the power supply during the operating
hours of the Plant Nursery (Monday-Sunday 8:30am - 4:30pm), noting however that
these times may vary depending upon weather conditions.
