Proposed Single House Addition (Extension to Existing Balcony) - 3/19 Rosslare Promenade, Mindarie - DA2020/4
The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 2 April 2020.
The application proposes a balcony extension to the Upper Level of the existing building on the western side of the property. The existing balcony is 2.9 metres wide x 3 metres deep with the balcony extension resulting in an overall dimension of 5.7 metres wide by 3 metres deep. The proposal includes screening that is 1.65 metres high to the entire south side of the balcony which then wraps around to the western side of the balcony for an additional 0.75 metres. The proposed balcony is setback 3.2 metres from the western boundary which is consistent with the existing balcony. The proposed balcony is setback 1.2 metres to the south.
