Proposed Mixed Use Building (Restaurant and 2 Apartments) -  15 Boston Quays, Mindarie -  DA2020/180

The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 6 May 2020.

The application proposes a four-storey mixed use development comprising a restaurant with a dining area of approximately 120sqm on the ground floor and first floors (60 seats in total) and a total of two multiple dwellings (apartments) with one apartment each on the two uppermost floors.

The proposed plans may be viewed via the City’s website (under “Have Your Say” > “Planning Proposals”). The proposal will be assessed against the City’s District Planning Scheme No. 2 (DPS2), Agreed Structure Plan No. 13 – Mindarie Keys Harbourside Village (ASP13) and State Planning Policy 7.3 – Volume 2 Residential Design Codes (R-Codes).

Members of the public are invited to provide comment on the proposal with regard to the following elements:

  • Building bulk;
  • Sunlight and ventilation;
  • Overlooking;
  • Effective use of space;
  • Amenity;
  • Views of significance; 
  • Appropriateness to the locality; and
  • Respect for the natural ground levels of the site.

  • Whether your submission is in support of, or objecting to the proposal and provide any arguments supporting your comments

Should you make a submission on a planning proposal, please note that your details may be made public at a Council meeting and included in a Council Agenda, which will be available on the City's website, unless you specifically request otherwise in your submission.
