Marangaroo - Revised Traffic Management Scheme, Parin Road

Community engagement has now closed. Comments were submitted from 02/11/2015 to 23/11/2015.

The City wishes to thank all residents who responded to the community consultation survey for the implementation of a traffic management scheme on Parin Road.

The responses have been considered and the results were relatively evenly split with 56% of respondents in support to 44% not in support.

To illustrate the City’s commitment to the community, two additional traffic management options have been developed for comment (see attached). These options have been developed with consideration of the number of concerns raised by residents who were not in favour of having speed cushions included as a traffic management option.

Please provide your comments on the two revised options for the traffic management scheme detailed below in the 'Document Library', by clinking on the survey in the 'Get Involved' section.
As this community consultation has been decided to occur, the report considering the community consultation for this project is no longer expected to be presented to Council at its December meeting and will instead be considered at its February 2016 meeting.

If you would like to find out more information regarding the outcomes of this consultation you are requested to visit the City’s website at http://www.wanneroo.wa.gov.au/info/20003/council/10/council_meetings/2. Any reports being considered at future meetings will be available for viewing in the “Agenda” approximately 1 week prior to the report meeting date.
