The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 11 December 2020.
The application proposes four (4) single storey grouped dwellings with a
centralised common property driveway. Due to the topography of the site, which
slopes towards the rear (west) of the lot, the proposal is seeking to install a
portion of retaining along the northern, southern and western lot boundaries to
establish internal terracing between the dwellings. The proposed retaining
walls have been measured at a maximum height of 0.8m to the north and west, and 0.6m to the south in lieu of 0.5m, which would be
considered exempt from requiring approval per the Residential Design Codes
(R-Codes). All other aspects of the proposed development have been considered
to meet the respective deemed-to-comply or design principles of the R-Codes.
